Our Mission in Action:
Over the past 3 months The Nick Strong Foundation has supported 5 local families going through the stress of a cancer diagnosis. If you know anyone in need of assistance, please reach out on our contact page.
October 18th was Nick’s 18th Birthday. I tried to think of something special to honor him, so I posted that anyone who registered for the basketball tournament that day, a gift would be sent to Boston Children’s Hospital Neuro-Oncology Unit. So many people reached out and wanted to send gifts. This idea had turned out so much better than I had anticipated. BCH received so many gifts in honor of Nick and the foundation sent $500 worth of items from their wishlist. This will be a new birthday tradition!!!

Please consider donating blood or platelets at Boston Children’s hospital. We will continue to encourage donations, as Nick was a frequent recipient of platelets so we know how important donors are to Children’s hospital. Send photos to Steph.Carroll27@gmail.com to have your donation photo featured in our newsletter!

As we come to the close of this year, we want to express our deepest gratitude for the unwavering support and compassion you’ve shown to our family and foundation. This holiday season, while we celebrate the joy and warmth of togetherness, we also remember those who are still fighting, the families who are enduring, the incredible strength of our young warriors and those remembering loved ones who are no longer with us. As we look to the new year, we remain committed to making strides in pediatric cancer research, treatment, and care, and we are so thankful to have you by our side.
Wishing you peace and comfort as you remember and celebrate those who will always be part of your heart. Together, we are stronger.
