Winter 2025 Newsletter

We hope that 2025 has been good to you so far. The holidays bring out so much reflection, and honoring the memories of those we’ve lost while helping others who are going through tough times is such a beautiful way to keep their spirits alive. This is exactly what our family did to get through the holidays.

Our Mission In Action:

Our goal is to bring some relief to families that are going through challenging times. In the past few months we were able to assist six families that are in the fight against pediatric cancer. If you know a family that could use financial assistance, please go to our contact page.

Tommy’s Place is a nonprofit corporation that hosts 104 families a year at one of their two Cape Cod vacation homes for one week free of charge. Due to unfortunate circumstances, our family was unable to attend our week at Tommy’s Place, but we fully support this amazing organization! It is a week to make lasting memories, relax and have no worries. The Nick Strong Foundation provided one free week of a magical vacation to a family. If you are ever looking for a way to give back, check out this foundation.

During Christmas, the foundation donated Amazon and Panera gift cards to patients at the Jimmy Fund and Boston Children’s Hospital. We also sent some special treats and gift cards to the amazing staff there as well!

Our little warrior, Gavin, recently received a bone marrow transplant from his sister. Our family knows all too well that siblings of those fighting cancer need support too. We wanted to do something special for Gavin’s sister during her recovery period. We teamed up with owners, Jean and Carol of Salon Sorella in Franklin and gave both of Gavin’s sisters and some friends a spa day. A big thank you to Salon Sorella for going above and beyond in pampering the girls!

We are thrilled to share this letter from Dr. Lau and The Jackson Laboratory. None of this would have been accomplished without your support. We will continue to fund research until a cure is found!
